A LITTLE CLARITY

Your plan. Your browser.

Resolution Pal is a free personal project by Dylan Sellberg. Here’s what happens to the information you share.

Your answers and finished plan

Your draft and plan are saved automatically in this browser’s local storage. They are not saved to an account or a personal-plan database on our server. Someone using this browser could see them. Use “Clear my plan” to remove them, or clear this site’s browser data. Private browsing and clearing browser data can also remove your plan, so copy or print anything you want to keep.

How AI is used

When you request personalized questions or a plan, your answers are sent through our server to OpenAI. We ask OpenAI not to store the response as an application record. OpenAI may still retain data for abuse monitoring or other purposes under its API data policies. Please avoid including sensitive details or information about other people.

Keeping the tool working

We use a security cookie and a hashed network identifier to limit abuse and spending. The server keeps request identifiers and rate-limit records for up to seven days, along with aggregate counts such as plans completed, errors, exports, and AI usage. These records do not include your answer text or finished plan. We do not use advertising trackers. Our hosting and AI providers may maintain their own technical logs.

Sharing and saving

“Share Resolution Pal” shares the website address, not your answers or plan. Copy and print happen in your browser. A printed or copied plan is yours to keep or share as you choose.

A helpful starting point

AI can make mistakes. Use your judgment and adjust the plan to your circumstances. Resolution Pal offers general goal-planning ideas, not medical, legal, or financial advice.
